Hello Friends, Followers and Hoppers!  So glad you could stop by!  It's time for another challenge but we have some extra fun this week! Along with our challenge, the Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge Team is having a blog hop to introduce you to the October Digi Release.

While you're hopping, be sure to leave some love on each of the blog hop posts…One of the ladies below is a mystery blogger and she will be picking a random winner from the comments on her blog post!!  The winning prize will be the whole October Digi Release!! (The winner will be announced here on Friday, October 26th.)   Before we get to the challenge for this week how about we share those new digis....

And now for today's challenge: Add some type of metal to your creation!   This can be a metal button, brad, photo turn, wired ribbon, staples....anything as long as something on your project is metal.  I opted for some wired metallic ribbon in combination with the Shepherd Boy image and Jesus is the Reason Christmas Sentiments:
I colored the Shepherd Boy image with Bic Mark Its and then ran it upside down through my Xyron and sprinkled clear glitter over the entire image panel for a super glittery effect (which was difficult to capture on camera for some reason).  I thought tearing the golden patterned paper would resemble sand.
Just a few things to keep in mind as you play along with our challenge:
  • Please remember - digital images only (they don't have to be SNS digi images, but we sure do love to see them!)
  • Please share a link to your creation using the Linky feature at the end of this post. If the link feature is down, please add a link with your comment, and
  • When uploading to online galleries, please use keyword SNSDC76
  • Every card you enter into our challenges throughout October, you will get one entry to be eligible for winning 3 digis of your choice from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps store
  • Every week, we spotlight one participant who uses SNSS digi images for their card or project (we strongly think those of you who love to use our digital images should be recognized a little more...)
Now, here is the blog hop list to see October Digi Release - Metal Challenge creations...

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have fun hopping!

Oh my goodness!!!! Your card is beautiful. I don't know how I missed this technique or hadn't thought of it myself, but running the image upside down through the xyron is fabulous. I usually use spray adhesive - but of course you know how horrible that smell is. Love everything about your card. Thank you for the tips!!
