CASEing Jimmi Mayo

Hello friends & followers!  Today's card was made for Cat Tidwell's Free-For-All Friday Challenge over at Stamp TV to CASE DT member Jimmi Mayo.  I selected this card by Jimmi using the True Love Stamp TV kit.  This is my card:
I changed (1) the background (Jimmi had lots of stamped white hearts, I used CB's Pretty Paisley EF), the Nestabilities Shape (I don't own the one Jimmi used so I opted for Labels 1 instead), and (3) I added a heart-shaped rhinestone in the center of the paper pieced pink paper coming out of the typewriter.  This card also fulfills the following challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping by to see my creations!  Have a great day!

More Gina K.!

Hello again friends & followers!  I have another card for your viewing pleasure, also made with Gina K. Designs stamps, although this time the Stamp TV kit set 'Sent With Love.'  I used some cute preformed plastic shapes I won at a recent Stamp Festival to create a shaker card for this week's Mix-It-Up Monday Challenge on Stamp TV and used some cute sunshine paper I recently picked up from Tuesday Morning along with Card Positioning Systems' 5th Anniversary Day 2 Sketch, (shown here:)
to create this card:
I thought birdseed would make a cute filler for this shaker card considering the image, don't you think?  I hope the finches don't mind that I borrowed a little.  This card also fulfills the requirements of Inky Impressions Challenge to use punches or dies (I used both on this card).
Thanks so much for stopping by - I am hoping to squeeze in a few more cards made with sketches from CPS' 5th Anniversary before the end of the evening, so I hope you will check back.  Have a great night!

Happy Gina K. Day!

Well, technically, Gina K. Day!  This is a holiday created by GKD & Stamp TV fan Sean to honor and celebrate all the wonderful inspiration and tutorials Gina has created to help us grow and improve as crafters (not to mention all the wonderful crafty products Gina & her illustrators have made to help us create with ).  For this special Gina K. Day Challenge at Stamp TV we were to pick a video that had the most meaning to us and re-create the card in the video as a tribute to Gina.  Well, I had hoped to get off my duff by now and watch Gina's videos on how to the Janome Sew Mini sewing machine, but since that has not happened yet, the next tutorial of which I am most fond is Coloring with Colored Pencils & Odorless Mineral Spirits.  I don't have the stamp set that Gina used in the video, so instead I used one of my first GKD sets that I ever purchased, Owl Always Love you and created this card:
along with the Big Scalloped Square Nestabilities dies and colored this sweet owl image with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and OMS.  I figured the sentiment is perfect for a close friend who will be moving sometime this summer.  This card also fulfills the requirements of Inky Impressions Challenge to use punches or dies, and Paperplay's Week 7 Challenge to make a card with critters on it.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  I will have more for you to see soon!

Big News!

Hello friends & followers!  I have some exciting news - I was asked to join the Wags 'n Whiskers Design team! WOO HOO!  I was SUPER excited by the invitation, because WnW makes some REALLY adorable dog, cat,  kid & fairy images -> Check out their digi images HERE! (but they also sell several of their images in rubber form here).  Today's challenge is 'Masculine Birthday' and I used WnW's 'Puppy Love' digi and some cool plaid paper to create this card:
I had so much fun coloring this cute little puppy up like Ty, and I used the paw prints border punch by EK Success, some cool jute twine ribbon, and borrowed the Day 11 Sketch from Card Positioning System's 5th Anniversary:
This card will be perfect for Ty to give his Daddy for his birthday (yes, our dog gives cards).  This card also fulfills the requirements of Shinhan Markers' Touch Twin Challenge 11 - Animals colored w/Touch Twin markers (it is okay to temporarily use other company's markers for the time being), and the Paperplay Challenge Week 5 - Critters.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see my creation and share in my good news!  Hope you will have a chance to play along in Wags 'n Whiskers challenge, their challenges run for two weeks and WnW images are not required (though we do love to see them of course!)  Have a great Friday!  I hope to do lots of stamping over the weekend, how about you?

Black & White Flashback

Hello Friends & Followers!  I am still recuperating, but while I do I thought I would entertain you with my entry in Amy Tsuruta's Flashback Friday Challenge 20.0 - where you repost a pic of your first card of that challenge time to reflect and remember where you have been and how far you have come creatively speaking.  The 20.0 challenge is your first black & white card.  I went back to November 4, 2010 for this card created with an adorable digi called 'Ansley's Surprise' by Wags 'n Whiskers (if you haven't heard of them - check them out!  They have some of the most adorable images of children and critters - some pretty fairies too!!):
I remember it was SO hard to resist coloring in this image because I love coloring so much, LOL!  Thanks for the trip down memory lane Amy - I hope you will all get a chance to play in Amy's monthly Flashback Friday challenges as well - no new cards are needed, you just repost something you already made - can't get too much easier than that right?!!  No vendor requirements either, so you can use your favorite stamp companies' images!  Hope you will play along.  Happy, healthy Tuesday!

Olive You More

Hello friends & followers, sorry you have not heard from me in a while, I am sick.  I mustered up all my energy to create a card for Sketch 113 from Skipping Stones Design:
I used SSD's Chic Martini set (aren't those little olives adorable?), some patterned paper from the Birthday Extravanga stack by the Paper Studio, and added red rhinestones - TA DA!  Quick & easy card created even though I am sick.  This card also fulfills the requirements of the following additional challenges:

Off to rest - thanks for stopping by!!
