Welcome to the second day of Newton's Nook Designs' March Release. Today another pretty faux quilling set joins the NND Family - introducing 'Beautiful Wings' and it coordinating dies!
I love the elegance of quilling, so I decided to make an elegant card in black with gold embossing:
A word of advice - I used reverse tweezers to hold the die cut butterfly pieces as I hit them with the heat gun - make sure your fingers are on the plastic part of the handle and not the metal - OUCH! LOL! I do love the effect though. Inside I used the 'fluttering by to say... Happy Birthday!' and will use this as a birthday card for my MIL. I hope she likes it, I know my hubby loves the look and feel of heat embossing.
