Easy peasy right? So you have no excuse not to play along! I decided to use the cute koala bear from 'Hanging Around' for a support card for a recovering friend:
I added flock to the koala bear (and his tail and the leaves) to make him extra soft, see?
To create the illusion of another layer I punched an oval shape from a piece of scrap paper and sponged some Pool Party ink in the cut-out center and then stamped the sentiment in the middle of it - pretty cool huh?
Additional Challenges:
- Since the flock made him soft & fuzzy I am entering this card in Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge to 'Add a Little Texture' (did you know that Simon Says Stamps carries Newton's Nook Designs stamps too? They do!!), and
- Sparkle 'n Sprinkle February 2015 - Anything Goes with loose glitter, embossing powder or flocking (obviously, I used flocking on this card).
Check out the Newton's Nook Designs Blog for the details of you how can play along with our challenge, how you can WIN a gift certificate to NND, and for more inspiration from my talented NND teamies.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

I would love to see and touch this myself! Love your design, and the great mint and grey color combo! This card would work for most everyone who is enduring this hard winter, too! Thanks for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
This guy is so cute! Love the flocking - makes him so cuddly and real. Great idea for the sentiment too. Thanks for joining us over at the Creative Challenge of Sparkle N Sprinkle.
Your little koala is adorable and I know your friend loved her card. So glad you shared it with us for the Sparkle N Sprinkle Creative Challenge.
This is SO cute! I love the extra touch of the flocking on the bear - what a great way to make a one -layer card have some fun dimension! Great job!
