Newton's Nook Designs September Release: Day 3

Welcome back for the third day of reveals for Newton's Nook Designs.  Today we are showing off this cool new Halloween set with lots of cool silhouettes images to make you own cool spooky Halloween scenes called 'Spooky Street':

I was psyched when Jen sent us this set because I don't have a lot of silhouette sets and they are SO much fun to use with brayered backgrounds, so that is the kind of card I made:

I actually got the idea this card from a card I received several years ago from one of my crafting friends, Emily, which used a different set of course, but had this cool brayered background behind solid black Halloween images, a similar layout, and was the impetus behind me searching high and low for that EK Success Boo border punch (LOL, I love it!).  I really like how this card came out, in real life, the center panel looks luminous, like it is glowing, VERY cool!  I used an ultra fine black gel pen to draw a line from the 'A' in 'happy HAUNTS' to the spider so he (she?  it?) looks like it is dangling from the sentiment.

Would you like to win 'Spooky Street'?
This set will be given away to TWO lucky winners!!

Here's how to win:

Comment on the NND blog and Design Team and Guest blogs (see list below)!  Two winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs' release posts.  Make sure you check out each of their blogs and comment for your chance to win.  You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning!  You have until Thursday, September 18th at 9 pm Central Daylight Time to comment -- winners will be announced on the blog post on Friday, September 19th.

Check out all these awesome Design Team & Guest Blogs below to enter:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Shellye is next on our hop, I am sure she has created something spectacular for you to see!  Enjoy!
