Welcome back for Day 3 of Newton's Nook Designs' July Release and you are going to be tickled pink by today's set: Flirty Flamingos
Seriously, are they not the sweetest little flamingos you have ever SEEN?!! I certainly think they are! I especially love the two gazing into one another's eyes, so I wanted to use them in a love themed card. However, since I am still unpacking my craft supplies (it will probably take me several weeks to unpack them all now that I am resumed work) and I have to work with what has been discovered so far. Well, all of my patterned paper is still boxed up, so what do you do when this happens? You improvise! I had luckily unpacked some washi tape and found some that had hearts and shades of pink and created my own DP!
I decided to go for a window card and cut out the heart-shaped window using a Spellbinders Nestabilities die so the cute flamingos in love can peek through. Here is the inside:
(I kept it simple)

These new stamps are so cute! Your card is adorable! You did a fabulous job with limited supplies! I'm moving too - all my crafts are packed and at the new house and I need to make a card this weekend! Thank you for the awesome idea - I think I can find my washi tape as it's in a drawer in my craft cart. So glad I stopped by today!
